our Evolution

Leap was incorporated in 2013 with the intent to create access to job opportunities for college students from underserved areas by providing them training in 21st century skills.

In our work, we discovered that there were four steps to this process.

ASPIRation | AGENCY | ABILITY | ACCESS

IABT

The disparity of youth achievement across urban and rural settings is a result of low levels of awareness and agency, further amplified by socio-cultural norms and the lack of supportive ecosystems. At IABT, we address this by enabling young people with the skills, tools, and resources necessary to pursue livelihood pathways which are better aligned with their aspirations.

Leap Skills

The COVID19 pandemic has disrupted traditional skill development and students are forced out of the current training ecosystem. At Leap, we believe there is an urgent need to leverage technology and bring learning back to these students. We believe blended-learning is the long-term solution to combining the traditional class-room experience with digital technology, and address India's skills-deficit.
