RECOGNITION OF PRIOR LEARNING

Leap Skills, under the aegis of National Skills Development Corporation, took up the Recognition of Prior Learning program under the Tourism, Hospitality and Facility Management sectors. Started in March 2017, the 3-month intervention consisted of a 12-hour training program. Leap, along with the government, certified the trainees under PMKVY 2.0 in 25 different districts from 12 different states.

Post Leap’s RPL training, our trainees observed salary increases, promotions, and appreciation at work. Of the trainees surveyed, we saw that over 90% of them reported an increase in their confidence and productivity through training and certification.

 

 

 

DEPARTMENT OF SKILLS, EMPLOYMENT, AND ENTREPRENEURSHIP

In November 2017, Leap Skills partnered with the Government of Rajasthan to carry out Propeller at three Government Industrial Training Institutes in Jaipur. Leap Skills enrolled 327 students across 3 ITIs in Jaipur through Scholarships. Out of which 261 students successfully completed the program.
